New Canal Lighthouse - Photo Gallery

Located in New Orleans, this lighthouse was used as a Coast Guard facility until recently. We visited New Orleans in 2003 and me and my son ent by early in the morning to take photos. We crossed the fence to get some closer shots, only be to sent back across a few minutes later by the crew of a Coast Guard boat. The light is currently operational but no tours available that I am aware of. Next door is a Joe's Crab Shack where you can eat and enjoy the lighthouse.
